PlatinumGames Wants to Show Bayonetta 3, But It’s Not Their Call

Bayonetta 3 was revealed for the first time in 2017. However, there has been no further information beyond that trailer. This situation has led PlatinumGames to confirm that production is going smoothly repeatedly, and series creator Hideki Kamiya has weighed in.

We are now three months away from 2022. This is despite previous hints that we would be hearing news at some point in the year. Speaking with VGC, Kamiya was asked about that potential tease, informing them, “Ultimately, it’s not our decision what to say and when to say it.”

Kamiya was not the only one to do this. Atsushi Inaba, PlatinumGames’ studio chief, also spoke with VGC.

Kamiya stated that the development team is eager to share it and that this decision was ultimately up to Nintendo. We hope to see the long-awaited sequel soon finally. We’ll keep you updated when it happens.
