Nvidia Leak – Nintendo Games Coming to PC

Here’s a rumour that is more ridiculous than real gonna-happen news. But there have been some other strange gaming events, so it’s impossible to be sure.

Reddit’s “sometimes good/sometimes bad” Gaming Leaks & Rumours forum has a post that reveals the Nvidia GeForce leaked information. This announced the GTA Trilogy, PlayStation’s God of War porting to PC, and the remake of Destroy All Humans! 2 – all three were legitimate, and many other since-verified projects – also include information about two different titles. New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Mario + Rabbids. There is no information on whether this is the older Kingdom Battle or the 2022-due sequel Sparks of Hope.

These are Nintendo games or games that have been released only on Nintendo platforms. Mario + Rabbids, a collaboration crossover created by Ubisoft and Nintendo Switch, is a Nintendo game. Nintendo games are more likely to be compatible with Nintendo systems. Although there have been some exceptions, like Mario and Zelda games for the Philips CDi in the 1990s and the mobile-only Super Mario Run in recent years, the traditional Nintendo is required to play in the Mushroom Kingdom or Hyrule.

Could Mario and his friends be coming to PC in the future? We’ve seen Horizon Zero DawnDays Gone, and God of War all leap. Nintendo is the big reason not here. The company is not a cooperative partner when it comes to sharing its IPs. Just ask the many fan-made projects. Mario games are a crucial selling point of every new Nintendo console, and the Mario franchise, in general, is one of the most lucrative entertainment brands, so it’s hard to see how they can not be seen.

Reddit’s poster states that “It is possible these two games were only used for testing purposes.” This may or may not be valid. It is possible that Nintendo surprised us. New Super Mario Bros. Wii was released way back in 2009. It has, whispers it… appeared on a non-Nintendo system and was released for Nvidia Shield TV China in 2017. orcould be the slightest hint of truth to this rumour. It’s a well-known game on Nintendo hardware, so why not give it another chance on a high-definition PC?
